G6TVJ HF Linear Amplifier
A home brew HF linear amplifier using two PL519 CTV line output valves. Operating the two valves in paralell and in passive grid mode, this amplifier produces a maximum of 100W PEP. The amplifier is built as two separate modular chassis that are screwed together to form a complete self contianed linear. Chassis one accommodates the power supply, heater current, grid bias, grid two supply and an auxiliary DC supplies for the exciter and driver amplifier. Chassis two houses all the RF components, a grid bias regulator circuit and conventional PI tank tuned valve amplifier. The two chassis may be separated for modifications and or a different RF configuration could be tried.
